This series of 8 studies gives a panoramic view of the whole gospel from the perspective of what it means for us to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the restoring Anointed One promised in the Old Testament. From a starting point of the actual promises made to the Jewish nation, we pick up three major themes - the Kingdom of God, righteousness, and the Holy Spirit - that recur as motifs throughout those promises. We then pick these themes up as they appear in the New Testament, showing how Jesus truly came to fulfil all the ancient promises, and what that means for us who are followers of him.

There is also an Appendix that deals with a lot of side issues concerning one of the more controversial aspects of the message, how we are to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The studies treat the material at a number of levels, and are suitable for a wide range of audiences, so long as they are men and women wishing to go deeper in their understanding of what it means to live under the new covenant.
